THE NATIONWIDE N-POWER VOLUNTEERS FELICITATE FAYEMI ON HIS VICTORY IN THE JUST CONCLUDED EKITI GOVERNORSHIP RACE

The entire Npower Volunteers wish to join other well meaning Nigerians to felicitate Dr John Kayode Fayemi on his victory in the just concluded Ekiti governorship race. The election has been keenly contested and it has produced a winner in the person of Dr John Fayemi Kayode, and as such, we wish to associate with him on this meritorious and well deserved victory in a fairly organised election. The good people of Ekiti State have decided and have made their choice, which is indeed the right one, and we celebrate them for speaking loud and clear by taking that bold and vigorous step and by confronting a sitting governor. We congratulate them all, and we give a special mention to the APC leadership of the state for withstanding all forms of threats and intimidations from the ruling party in the state. Kudos for job well done.

We wish to specifically thank Mr President, President Mohammadu Buhari, who has ensured that adequate security were provided to enable Ekiti people vote without fear, and to also ensure that the election is not manipulated or rigged in favour of any political party. This still adds credence to his already established and indisputable claim of integrity. May you live long Sir. 

Equally, we want to appreciate the entire electoral umpire, INEC, for successfully organizing a free, fair and generally accepted election devoid of all forms of manipulations and bias. They earn all the credits recorded for the success story of the election. We applaud them for that and implore them to improve on it in the forthcoming state elections and most especially the 2019 general elections. 

Finally, we wish to appeal to Dr Fayemi to see this victory as a victory for the party, APC, and the people of Ekiti State at large, and we urge him to justify the sacrifices all stakeholders have made to achieve this victory. The mandate of the people must not be taken for granted. He must run an all inclusive government.

At our own end, The Nationwide Npower Volunteers, we will continue to associate with the landmark achievements of the APC led administration under the able leadership of His Excellency, President Mohammadu Buhari and Professor Yemi Osinbajo, and we pledge our support and loyalty to their second term ambition, and shall endeavor to give them all necessary supports in the 2019 general elections. 

Once again, we appreciate all those who have supported the cause to reclaim Ekiti for APC, and we congratulate Dr John Kayode Fayemi, the governor elect of Ekiti State.
